The front axle can pivot 8 degrees in either direction on the center pin pivot. The steering system uses a worm sector type steering box conforming to the Ackerman Steering Gear System. The steering wheel moves a pitman arm connected to a tie rod which connects to the steering lever on the left front wheel and connected to the steering arm on the right front wheel.
